This website generates static pages, processes no cookies, collects only anonymous aggregate view metrics via Umami, and hosts all font configurations locally.
- No cookies. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
- No third-party font/script CDNs. Typography (Inter) is served directly from this server, so your browser never contacts an external font provider.
- No embedded social widgets. Links to LinkedIn are plain hyperlinks, not tracking scripts.
Web Analytics and Website Optimization
1. Scope and Legal Basis of Data Processing
We utilize Umami Cloud, a privacy-focused web analytics service provided by Umami Software, Inc., to analyze the use of our website and continuously optimize its functionality.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest lies in the evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of our online services, as well as the statistical analysis of visitor traffic.
2. Categories of Processed Data
Umami Cloud operates entirely without the use of cookies, tracking pixels, or persistent local storage. It does not track users across multiple external websites or create unique, long-term user profiles.
When you visit our website, the following technical metadata is collected, aggregated, and immediately anonymized:
- The URL of the requested web page and the referrer URL (the page you previously visited).
- Technical details of your device and software, including browser type, version, operating system, and screen resolution.
- Categorical geographic location restricted solely to country level (derived from the IP address).
3. Anonymization and Data Retention
The visitor’s IP address is processed temporarily and dynamically hashed on the server side to generate a transient, site-specific session ID. This process prevents the identification of individual data subjects. The raw IP address is discarded immediately and is never stored in any database or log file. All analytics data is stored exclusively in an aggregated, anonymous format.
4. Data Location and Transfer
All analytics data processed by Umami Cloud on our behalf is hosted and stored on secure servers located within the European Union (EU). This structure ensures that no personal data transfers to third countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) take place under this analytics framework.
5. Data Subject Rights
Because the data collected by Umami Cloud is entirely anonymized and cannot be linked to any identifiable natural person, the data controller is generally unable to trace data back to specific individuals. Consequently, rights under Articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR (such as the right to access, erasure, or rectification) may not apply pursuant to Article 11(2) GDPR, unless the data subject provides additional information enabling their identification.
